This policy explains what personal information we hold when you shop with us, why we hold it, and what you can ask us to do with it.
We hold two kinds of information: what you tell us (name, address, email, order notes) and what the site records automatically (pages viewed, approximate region, device type). If you create an account or join the newsletter we also hold the email address you gave us.
Order details are used to pick, pack and deliver your order, and to contact you if something about it needs confirming. Marketing email is only sent to people who asked for it, and every message carries a one-click unsubscribe that takes effect immediately.
Cookies here do three jobs: keeping your cart contents while you browse, recording your cookie preference so the banner does not reappear, and measuring which pages are visited. None of them build an advertising profile, and blocking them in your browser will not prevent checkout from working.
A small number of service providers handle data on our behalf: the payment provider that processes card transactions, the courier that delivers your parcel, and the email service that sends order confirmations. Card numbers are entered on the payment provider's own interface and never reach our servers, so we could not store them if we wanted to.
We keep order records only as long as we must for tax and accounting, and delete the rest. You can ask us to send you a copy of what we hold, to correct it, or to delete anything that is not part of a required record. Write to the address in the footer and we will answer within a few business days.
Write to our contact address and we will send you a copy of what we hold about you, normally within a week. Corrections are made as soon as we have confirmed the right value: a delivery address that has changed, a name spelled differently, an email you no longer use. We answer these requests ourselves rather than routing them through a ticket form, so if you are unsure what to ask for, describe the problem and we will work out which record needs changing.
You can ask us to delete your details, and we will do so except for the order records we are obliged to keep for tax purposes. You can also object to marketing at any time, which stops the emails immediately and leaves your order history untouched.
We do not make automated decisions that affect your order. Fraud screening may pause a payment for review, but a person looks at it before an order is cancelled, and you can always ask us why a decision was made.
Because we ship internationally, your delivery details may be processed outside your own country by the carrier handling the parcel. Only the name, address and telephone number required for delivery are passed on, and the carrier may not use them for anything else.
Our products are sold to adults, and we do not ask for or knowingly keep information about children. If you think a minor has given us their details, write to us and we will delete them without argument.
This page is the current statement of what we do. If it is revised, the revision appears here rather than in a separate notice, and orders already placed continue to be handled under the policy that applied when they were made.
Questions about privacy go to the address in the footer and are answered by a person, not a ticket queue. If you are not satisfied with our answer, say so in the same thread and it will be looked at again.
